Our Story

Hello I'm Anna, creator of Curlew's Nest. Nestled in a small village in the Yorkshire Dales Curlew's Nest began as a hobby which quickly turned into a passion for creating traditional cold processed soaps. I've always been captivated by the colours and scents that nature provides us and these inspired me to create my soap collections. 

Nature remains at the heart of everything I do from botanical infusions, to clays and plant powders for colouration and essential oils for scent. I love discovering how natural ingredients can be transformed into beautiful skin loving soap without the need for artificial additives.

Each soap is handmade in small batches using the traditional cold processed method. This slower method allows me to carefully craft soaps that are gentle, nourishing and rich in naturally derived ingredients. I believe everyday rituals should feel special and that taking a few moments for yourself can make all the difference in a busy day. 

My hope is that each bar brings a little piece of nature into your home, creating a moment of calm, comfort and gentle indulgence whenever you use it.
